Day 17

Thursday was the first day since last Friday that I did some exercise because of my back. I went climbing and can really feel my grip strength increasing. I doubt that I have done enough climbing for it to make a difference at the Euros, but at the moment I'm more worried about my back which has prevented me rolling for a week or so. I hope to roll properly on Sunday.
I received a large shock after climbing when I entered the sauna. I had of course prepared myself for the obligatory willy and possible boob assault, but I could not have foreseen the shock goating that I was subject to. Now at this point I know that many of you will be thinking to yourselves, 'What on Earth is a goating?'. I will offer up a link taken from the urban dictionary. Please be assured that the goating I am refering to, is the second one on the list and not the first, I find the first one totally disgusting and immoral. Please don't read the definition if you are easily offended.

Definition for Goating.

Now of those of you who have looked at the definition, and play Rugby/Football, will no doubt be eager to introduce this to your squad if it is not already common practice, those of you who have never played these sports in the UK will probably be feeling a mixture of disbelief, confusion and revulsion. Of course this is only natural, goating is not for polite society, only for the rugby locker room and German saunas.

I am aware that recently some of my posts have not been following my BJJ preparation for the Euros (and Worlds), and I can do nothing but offer and apology for those readers who expect more from me. I am ashamed and will do better, once I start training properly again. Rest assured that you will be receiving a Euro's based post after my competition, with hopefully a lot of photos and maybe a little further down the line a video or two. All I can offer now to placate the masses (all 5 of you) is a nice technique I found on-line the other day, but sadly I have not had time to practice it on the mat due to my already over-mentioned injury!
